The Responsibility of users
The users of this site must comply with the operative legal and statutory provisions.
It is the user’s full responsibility to :
- ensure that the content that one diffuses on the site (description of profile, legends of photos, questions asked, messages sent to the forum…) is not a violation of intellectual property rights.
- ensure that the content that one diffuses does not cause harm to individuals, but does respect basic rights to privacy and those of public order. That includes, but is not limited to : defamation, insults, the glorifiaction of illegal practices (piracy…), incitement to racial hatred and pornography.
The site editor may feel it necessary to delete or modify content that does not respect existing laws or copyright regulation.
However, the site editor disclaims all liability regarding content published by its users.
Information on the protection of your personal data
In accordance with personal data protection and privacy in electronic communication legislation, Urbanbees only uses the collected data for stated purposes, those being : to inform the public about the progress of our programme, to invite people to participate in different events, to inform them of new material to the website, to offer similar activities, to inform them in the case where their photo has won the contest, or to ask if a user’s photo can be used as an educative tool.
The mandatory or voluntary nature of these answers is clearly indicated on the data collection form.
Nominative information collected on the site are destined to be used exclusively by the Urbanbees programme ; it will be shared and analysed by the relevant structures.
You may at any time, ask to consult your own personal information, and request their deletion.
In accordance with the Data Protection Act of January 6 amended in 2004, you have the right to access and rectification personal information by writing to :

For statistics about page viewing of the site, certain pieces of data are analysed by the following :
- Google INC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
The data is kept for the strict amount of time necessary for the site to function properly, this is to say until 2020. After that time, the data will be kept for exclusively informative reasons, in particular for the authors of the photos that could be published, with their consent, on partner sites.
L’INRA implements the necessary measures to guarantee data security.
The images and photos are protected and cannot be used in any other manner, which includes non-commercial ends. The downloading of text, images, sound, photographs, data, brands and any other element found there, in full or in part, is allowed for strictly private purposes, or for educational or non-commercial purposes. One must have prior written consent of INRA for the use, diffusion, commercialization, reproduction and representation, total or partial, of elements of the site for other purposes other than those stated above.
Intellectual property and copyright
By publishing text and images, the member acknowledges to be the author of these creations. In the absence of this authorship of the submitted works, the member will take care in obtaining the authorization of the publication from the author, and mention the name of the work, and the author, as well as the rights reserved on the work.
In the case of images representing third parties, and more particularly those of minors or handicapped adults, the member shall take care in obtaining their autorisation or that of their legal representative, in order to exploit their image and to publish it on our site.
The managers of the site cannot be responsible for the lack of respect of these legal obligations by members.
The photos proposed by members are submitted to the editors who select those that will be published in the relevant gallery. Certain photos, if the editors judge it appropriate, could be presented in the bee inventory gallery. The photos that are not chosen to be published can be viewed on the member’s profile page but will not be visible in the galleries.
The contests are open to any registered member who wishes to enter their 5 photos in the contest. The act of asking people to vote for one’s photo is forbidden and disqualifies him/her. Unless otherwise indicated, a maximum of 5 photos per member per contest can be sent in.
The internaut and the member can, at any moment, unregister from the site by issuing such a request by contacting us by the « Contact us » link. The cancellation will take effect within 48 hours.
Links in hypertext found within the site guide users towards other resources in the Internet network, but also from those resource sites towards our site, being established links with the site of the entities of the Urbanbees programme or of third party sites.
These different links cannot be considered as being notably an offer of services or products, or a recommendation, advice, or commercial solicitation of any kind.
INRA cannot be held liable for content and the use of information found on any of the other sites by any third party. Likewise, INRA cannot be held liable for the consequences linked to technical failures relating to those links.

The site www.urbanbees.eu is hosted by a server maintained by LA FABRIQUE CREATIVE.
INRA cannot be held liable for the consequences linked to technical failures related to the site notably any difficulty in accessing the site or any interruption of the publication of the site.
